Limoges Bowl, Tresseman & Vogt Company circa 1892-1907
11" diameter, 5.5" tall, 4 footed, in excellent condition. Very classy. $200 cash

Fruit Compote
by Adams & Co. of Pennsylvania, circa 1891. The pattern is known as Excelsior (XLCR) & is similar to the patterns King's Crown or Thumbprint, produced in later years by Tiffin Glass and Indiana Glass. The notable difference is the scalloped rim. It is in near perfect condition, having small scratches in the ruby rim. It has straw marks in the bowl from manufacture (see pictures). It is 7.75" tall and 8.75" in diameter. It is a sparkling, heavy piece of glass. View a description of a jelly compote in the same pattern at Worthpoint: http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/eapg-excelsior-kings-crown-ruby-stained-jelly-1 It is the only picture reference I have found with the scalloped edge & I can't find another one like it. $110 cash.
